Our Rotary Club of Kathmandu North East is going to do some global grant projects in Earthquake stricken villages of Jyamrung in Dhading, very close from Epi Center Gorkha. There are about 8500 people, 1600 households and 11 schools. The houses and schools have completely been damaged.
We are going to do a project on rehabilitation of schools, which were desperately destroyed by the massive earthquakes and many aftershocks. Rtn. Tilak has already raised a fund of nearly US$ 7000 from individual rotarians and non- rotarians. New desks, benches, white boards, library, stationeries, computers etc... will be replaced through this project. The estimated budget for this project will be of US$ 45,000 maximum.
